Objective
Selborne Chambers, a prestigious London-based legal chamber, approached us for a full rebrand. Their goal was clear: create a fresh, modern identity to differentiate them and reinforce their top-tier status.
Outcome
By collaborating closely with stakeholders, we developed a brand system that seamlessly unites strategy, story, and visuals—flexible enough for campaigns, print, and digital communications. The new identity balances professionalism with approachability. It positions Selborne Chambers as forward-thinking, while retaining the gravitas expected of a leading legal institution. The result is a brand that stands out, resonates with audiences, and adapts to evolving communication needs.

Research & Strategy
However, the research uncovered a lot of positive sentiment and language from clients and the wider market. Giving a solid brand service position to build upon. The question was, “How can these qualities be visually communicated?’

Building the visuals
With a blank page regarding the visuals, many initial territories were explored. Ranging from art-deco exquse to promote quality and sophistication, bold geometric styles, to modernised illustrations of classical courtroom renderings.
Values and people are central to the Selboren Chamber’s story
After selecting a primary font that balanced legacy with modernity, we developed a visual language reflecting the bold, dynamic, and human qualities of their work. The logo mark (a refined geometric icon representing core values and relationships) became the foundation for a versatile system of shapes and lines that could be flexed to key messaging. To complete the brand, we commissioned new photography to pair with these striking graphics, ensuring their human-centric service remains a fundamental visual pillar.
